Fishing in Loviisa (Pernajanlahti) and the Porvoo Archipelago
Pernajanlahti is located in the interior of the Gulf of Finland, in front of the coast of Pernaja (currently part of Loviisa). It consists of a large inlet, several smaller bays, and islands. The area is diverse - featuring large open waters, sheltered bays, shallow shores, reed areas, and rocky shallows.
Only two anglers are allowed to fish with a fly at a time in the boat.
Typical Catch
Pike - Found in grassy bays and shallow shores, especially in spring and fall.
Perch - Common catch in spring and summer near reed-covered shores; when the waters cool down, they can be found by rocky areas and currents.
Sea Trout - Caught in sunny southern shores in spring, near outer sea islets in summer, and on sandy shallow shores and rocky islets in fall once the waters cool.

How to Prepare for the Trip?
Prepare with weather-appropriate outdoor clothing and comfortable flat-soled shoes. Remember that it is always cooler at sea than on land. Additionally, even in dry weather, splashes may occur, so consider this in your clothing choice.
Alternatively, we can provide participants with rain gear in summer and flotation suits that are warm and waterproof in cooler weather. Please inform us of your equipment needs 24 hours before the trip via email at info@trophyfishing.fi.
The trip price does not include meals; you can order meals through us for the fishing day or bring your own snacks. If the trip lasts longer than four hours, it is recommended to stop at an island for a fire and enjoy a picnic meal or grill your own sausages and brew coffee.
If you decide to order a meal, we need to know at least 24 hours before the trip, and please inform us of any allergies at that time.
If participants have any health restrictions, we would appreciate advance notice so that we can prepare adequately and take them into account in the trip planning.
